as you probably know booking.com not work in Russia, I want to come to Russia very soon and I think to find best hotel wherever I go in Russia
I found https://ostrovok.ru But they ae selling hotel room for 2000P more expensive than official hotel room price,
Any option? .

if you know which TOWN or City you will go, look up on the net the hotels directly and book there... on top of it, i don't think Russia is at the moment overrun with tourists.
on top of ot, at any airport, railway station, but serminal there are people who KNOW where you can get a cheap place for the night or a few days. Russian Language though for sure is a must...
and remember -when in Rome do as the Romans do-....

works nicely.
and you have to type into the field only the first 2 or 3 letters of the city or place you want to go. the rest is then from a drop down menu. and it does it in English and russian language. at least my MAC does it this way. could be though that i have set him up for 3 languages ? (Russian,English and German).
On the left hand side it gives you also a choice how much you want to spend. The -standard -though is for a double bed. Suppose if or when one clicks further it will also explain is breakfast included or not?

Anyway, I like to call the hotel, like BigBear said, so i can be sure of the room and price when I arrive.

I used AirBnB to book a room in Kansas City. When I got out of the van, I heard explosions in the neighborhood. Sounded like gunshots, but the Chiefs (football team) were playing that night, so it could have been firecrackers.
