This article says Google Russia had 144 billion Rubles of sales in 2020 from Youtube ads, also income from supporting Android updates. They've lost this ad revenue, plus they were fined for various reasons. You can translate this into English on google translation.

But they are leaving Google as a search engine, Youtube and so on...for free.

Google did not lose any ad revenue, it was Google that chose to punish Russian YouTubers by not letting them make money. Google also stopped the sale of their premium service, they also stopped the sale of apps. As far a Android for phones, they don't control it that much, only on their phones and ones that may run pure Android, companies like Samsung that have their own One UI might be able to update their products, both my wife and I have gotten security updates recently.
