The problem I have now is that I agree with people who I am tired of listening to. They are stuck in complaining about insanity, and cannot get up the courage to end the insanity by force. So they engage in never-ending complaining. They're right, but it's boring. Wake me up when someone leads a revolution.

You, too? I have a friend like that. He calls me up and complains. He can complain for hours! Mainly, I am a good listener and acknowledge and understand what the other person is saying. At first I would be comfortable being in sync with him, listening, and then complaining about stuff I want to complain about. When I suggest solutions, to him about personal issues, he always has a reason why he can't do what I suggest. He's a VICTIM and he wants everyone to know he's a victim! (That's what A at my church told me).

Now he's a dealer at the casino, where you sit around at a table and grouse about this and that while you're playing poker or blackjack. He wants a different job, and he's an excellent photographer so I said I would make a website for him to advertise his services as "photographer extraordinaire," for weddings, events, etc. He took some photos for me of items for new online auction listings, on a couple of occasions. Good stuff. But he does not want to advertise his photo services. He does not want to travel to the event or wedding site, he does not want to work weekends, etc. He is like a horse you can lead to a bridge, but he refuses to travel over the bridge.

A total waste of time. I don't even want to work with him taking photos for me - I don't want to become another whiner! I am not obligated to communicate with whiners. That is my choice, yes?

I am not talking about censorship. No one should be forced to remain silent.

But every human being has the right to choose who they want to talk to and who they don't want to talk to.
