silly question? but 6pm (CET) what time would that be in Moscow?

to Vienna there is a 2 h time difference. but is this Central European time? or is this counted from London? where there is,what an hour, more ? https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cet does not make sense to me... it is for a -zoom conference -. and we have only 45 FREE minutes and only 100 people can take part. so all the important things should be worked out beforehand. when the time comes, we have only questions. and hopefully ready answers...

Vienna time is on CET time which is the same as GMT+2.

Zoom uses GMT+2, the time zone for Vienna. When setting the time for the meeting, you can scroll down to GMT+2 where you will find "GMT-2 Vienna". Then you know you have the right time.

CET is the most commonly used term. So zoom confuses things here...

the zoom meeting will be held with people from all over the world.( organising it from MALTA...) but I AM IN MOSCOW. that is why i asked. What will be the particular time here in MOSCOW.
For instance at the bottom of EXPAT i got this - All times are GMT +5. The time now is 06:38 - . But the REAL time on MY clock ,while writing this, is 5.38... And I cannot correct the time on MY computer. Only admin -there - can do it..

Then set the meeting for "Time Zone Moscow" just under "topic" for date and time setting. This will be GMT+3.

Then put down the time of the meeting in Moscow.

    Good luck with it!

If the meeting is at 6 pm CET time, you join at 7 pm.

teh conference went well, apparently it was lots of fun. even without me. something my NAC did not like, got not connected on time... but it will be held on a regular basis and the more often we will do it, the better it will be.
