    Fixed Price

Just recently I've been doing small shopping at FP, and amazed at how cheap some products are compared to say Magnolia ,Billa , etc..
small things like Mars Bar, 30% less, tortillas 50% less, Colgate mouthwash and so on.

You can get a frequent shopper card and get even more discounts.

Some stuff there is a trick. So, u can buy 5 tortilla shells for 50 rub, but at bills it's like 10.for.80, for example. I made those numbers up but u get the idea.

They do have cheap beer @ 50 rub, and some other products are exact like for.like. so deodorant, toothbrushes, etc.

    Overall, it's a great ace for.specific items

You should try Funny Prices, the have clothes, shoes, coats, and more. I bought a pair of fake Nike for 600 rubles and they lasted me two years.

Watch out, sometimes, not always, their packing is smaller too.
But for sure there are some good stuff now and then.

one thing is for sure. also Fixed Price gives away nothing for free. they have often shops in places that can command cheaper rent. they have seldom to never fresh meat and fresh fruits and vegetables. which have a high spoilage and low storage factor. one could compare them with the -1 Euro- Shops - i nthe EU. Lots of junk. but when one is a regular there one can get good prices for selected items. and as usual, look and compare!

No, it's "белковая икра", don't take. Normal red caviar aka fish eggs now is not less than 600 rub per 140g can. I take in Красная Икра shops:

there is also -black caviar- there. i saw that already when working in Lipetsk 10 years ago. it is made from fish protein and formed into little balls. though it should be i na refrigerator all times. same as -normal- caviar. The stuff looked good as garnish on cheap sandwiches... or when someone wanted to show off. add so much lemon juice, spread butter THICK onto the brad. and you have no taste of caviar...

AB, i never will set foot in this palce. maybe they are more expensive here than in the regions? and on ROSKONTROL their products are regularly on the -black list-. they do have in deed one or two products as -loss leaders -. the same as AUCHAN has their bananas. they are selling them below purchasing price ( i know that form an exhibition, talking to banana importers. also,Russia does not get the first grade, so they are cheap..).because no one comes in to buy 1 kg of bananas or a few pkts of Wasa bread. And THEN they make their money with what you buy that you did not want to buy.
