What's the problem with someone enthusiastically participating in a thread? Everyone else is certainly welcome to participate as much as they like. Or you could even not read the thread instead of asking for it to be locked.

That would seem to be a potential motivation for objecting to it. But “tolerance for differing opinions” is ultimately a Leftist pseudo-virtue, a standard they hold up for others that they don’t want applied to their own ideas.
A Leftist is free to promote Leftist “values” (which are market rate and for sale, anyway) on this thread; I would just ignore them. Calling for locking is because a person feels highly offended, something that is justified when a common standard of decency is consistently violated, but that is not the case here.
