(Just tried searching through the booking.com app, and they don't sevice the Moscow region any longer. Dopes! Good riddance!. It's too bad Russians didn't realize sooner that they can create such service and e-commerce apps on their own.)

Replacing Booking.com and airbnb are bronevik.com, onetwotrip.com, travel.yandex.ru. These are the top Russian sites as far as I can tell...
Tutu.ru was mentioned before...to book hotels in the big cities only.
The Russian government has announced it will open a service analogous to booking.com. Let's see.
