Account on Gosuslugi

I have an account on the Госуслуги portal. However it is only a basic account.

It would be very convenient if I can upgrade it to a confirmed account. When I try and do this I get an error.

I am not sure if this is a) because of some error in the data somewhere (the verification process checks with the Pension Fund of Russia and if someone has e.g. misspelled my name when registering me that could be a reason) or b) because, as a foreign citizen, I am not permitted to have an upgraded account - and it is simply choking on my UK passport.

I did ask in a multifunction centre and the answer, from someone who seemed quite efficient, was that only citizens or people with residence permits can have confirmed accounts. (I am here on a Work Visa). Can can anyone confirm this? Has anyone got a Госуслуги account without TRP?

Not sure if it's applicable to non-citizens, but I did confirmation of my Gosuslugi account via Sberbank (at least it was possible yet in 2019).

Особенности регистрации иностранных граждан
В целом, процедуры регистрации и проверки данных иностранных граждан
не отличается от аналогичной процедуры для граждан РФ, вместе с тем имеется
ряд особенностей.
Так, при заполнении данных (при создании упрощенной учетной записи и
создании стандартной учетной записи) требуется указать реквизиты документа,
удостоверяющего личность иностранного гражданина на территории Российской
Федерации, на основании которого иностранный гражданин получал СНИЛС и сам
СНИЛС.
Все поля необходимо заполнять на русском языке в полном соответствии с
документами, только тогда успешно пройдет проверка в ведомствах.
По вопросам получения СНИЛС всем категориям пользователей (включая
иностранных высококвалифицированных специалистов), а также, в случае
изменения документов иностранного гражданина после получения СНИЛС,
следует обращаться в Пенсионный фонд России (http://www.pfrf.ru).

I also have had problems logging onto gosuslugi on line. They rejected my SNILS number, which has been accepted by Mos.ru, my polyclinic and so on. Someone suggested going to my local Gosuslugi center and sign up in person. Not high on my list but it seems better than trying to sign up on the bloody website over and over.

I'm also trying to upgrade my Gosuslugi account (to get in line for the Sputnik V).
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a SNILS online? I have full residency at the moment.

Get - no, only in person at the local PFRF office. But probably you may submit the request online.

They called me back. Only in person, no appointment necessary.
