    Cathedral

Cathedral. A stunning place for a whole year dreamed of going here. Who does not know is in Moscow metro station 1905 and on foot 10 minutes.WhatsApp Image 2020-12-05 at 18.38.21.jpeg

it is the biggest -catholic- cathedral in Moscow. but also Armenian orthodox celebrate mass there. X Mas is coming soon. suppose i will celebrate service via Internet only. The Cathedral was built by the -polish community-. And Polish specialists with the help of many Russians. They have services in several languages. Besides Russian also German or English.
There is no greater treasure then pleasure....

A very beautiful cathedral. I haven’t been there yet, but I think we need to make up for this omission. There are a lot of beautiful and unusual places in Moscow, it is simply unrealistic to see all of them in one trip.

its a great spot. i used to live down the street from there for years upon years and walked by all the time. the zoo is down the street and they have big windows with little animals n reptiles inside. its fun to stop and look. this is about a 15-20 min walk from the metro, so, very doable. also, its a great spot to take pics with one of the seven sisters, it provides a unique angle/view.

i tried to go to services n offerings from time to time, but really, anything religious and not orthodox gets a lot sunday passer-bys that just pop-in, sit for a quick moment, and duck out.

    it's super annoying.
