it got to expensive every few weeks to put up new village -name signs -.(Ortstafel) -Fans- came and stole them regularly. and they are not cheap indeed.

I Denmark there is a few places with names that is fun one way or another, Paris, Rom, London, Victoria Street Station, and some more, it is places far out on the country side and their signs are going missing now and then.
I invited my mother in law to Paris, and we went to Paris, I even made a picture with her and the sign, and got it printed in poster size.

In Pennsylvania, in Amish country (where they drive horse and wagon, not car) we visited town of "Intercourse" and got some souvenir newspapers "The Intercourse News".

From "Intercourse", it's 15 minutes to "Peters" but a 4 hour "ride" to "Climax". Also in that area are towns "Virgin", "Blue Ball", "Middlesex", and 'Bird-In-Hand". No wonder the Amish seem to have ten children in the family...
