No takey vaccine, no takey vacation

American Airlines is saying that soon you will need a certificate that shows you have been vaccinated to fly. Next step will be riding the bus, entering a shop, having a job. It will be recommended you implant a chip that holds all your info, social credits and soon money. If you do or say the wrong thing your chip will be shut off until you report to your local social service office for re education.

Ya, because you being a chef had to do all that to work. We mere mortals have never experienced such a thing. The new normal.

    AA isn't the only airline.

"International air travellers will in future need to prove they have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to board Qantas flights, the airline says.

The Australian flag carrier's boss, Alan Joyce, said the move would be "a necessity" when vaccines are available."

Yes I heard some more are saying the same thing. I'm glad I don't have to fly.

Talk to an Eskimo! Soon you can go by dog sled.

On a side note, I actually had a guy from Alaska contact me on Instagram and ask about moving to Russia.

OK, I sincerely hope the second box won't make a hole in one's budget?

Uncle Wally, more power to you for sharing more info, but at this point it's farcical to keep trying to convince NPC's of the weakness of CoVid, I would presume.

The more salient question - what to do about the restrictions? As guests here (foreigners) I think we're quite limited in any of the kinds of pushback we could perform; fine. But don't you think it's concerning that natives (Russians, Americans, Britons, Australians...) don't push back more?

It would seem that giving up an inch now, which is relatively easy (just put on the mask to satisfy them, so you can go shopping, etc.) is much more costly than it appears, because of miles they'll try to take from us later. And, in parallel, it would be much easier to push back now vs. later (perhaps with Russians as the exception)! Is my thinking here wrong?
