If it's what the Prophet taught and did, it's legitimately Islam, even when it is wildly self-contradictory.
I wouldn't mention the religion, but you repeatedly defend and reference it, making it a probable source of your political positions, whatever you may say. His own beliefs about what is good, right and true, what is the nature of man and his purpose in life, etc. His position depends on not asking him exactly what his is. Kind of like the Left in general. In his case, his quiet promotion of Islam is something that deserves particular notice.
I don’t care about your personal life, Tolko. Here, I see only one thing of interest: what you promote, and why. I lay my cards on the table. The Christian way is the best, because it is truest and the most truth-telling about the nature of man. It is the hardest ideal, and so the most difficult to fulfill, and so few fulfill it. Most disappoint. Being a Christian means not being as good as we are supposed to be; we always fail, and are called to get up and try again, harder. So yeah, our hierarchs are going to suck and disappoint us periodically, while others, like Fr Daniel Sysoev, live up to the ideal and get thoroughly ignored. Christendom, for all of the evils done in it, achieved the highest form of civilization in human history. It produced everything that made everyone else envy and admire us. The Islamic world, on the other hand, achieved a heyday only once, when the Western World had fallen to its lowest point and was only just starting to pull itself together (particularly 800-1200 AD). The teachings of Islam never enabled, nor could enable, the Geneva Convention, Renaissance art and music, democracy at its best, or most of the other things we consider admirable about the West. But we are kafir to the Muslim who takes his religion seriously, who believes in not cherry-picking the teachings but accepting them all, in imitating the Prophet, and so on. The dual nature of Islam - one rule for Muslims, another for non-Muslims, as well as the principle of taqiyya, will always make it inferior to and more dangerous and threatening to others than Christianity.
