    The Next POTUS?

Trying to make sense of all the media headlines and bluster, who do you think will be the next POTUS?

    Who is your money on?

Yes, Trump. With all the riots, looting and burning of businesses the regular hard working folks are getting tired of the liberal Democrat violence. Most people aren't that stupid and know who's responsible for all the trouble and it ain't Trump. Most people worry about the economy and jobs, not about the rights of some mentally unstable persons that want to dress up like women and have a pe**s put where it should not be.

The media headlines are false. They are there to mislead you and manipulate you. It's all a CIA op.

The liberal Left is a significant minority. But they do control the mass media. And they might be able to throw the vote count into serious doubt.
A majority of working class people and those in flyover country are decisively for Trump or at the very least, against the “wokeness”, political correctness, and revolutionary plans of the Left. The Left mainly has the college vote, because they are now highly ignorant kids that were taught next to nothing, and know very little, but imagine themselves to be educated, as well as the upper-middle classes on the coasts and big cities who were not screwed over by Obamacare or otherwise don’t pay the consequences of the policies of the Left.
My money’s on Trump, but it will be hotly contested for weeks, with riots launched within a couple of days after initial election results are announced. At any rate, that’s what seems to be the most likely outcome.

Trump, but they would probably be much better of with somebody else than both Trump or Biden, but their only choice is between two bad candidates.
One the bright side, the turnout seems to blow everything more than 100 years back in time, that is good news, so somebody is waking up over there, congratulations, you are on the right track, but sadly not for the next four years, some cleaning is needed in the political system, maybe kicking out the big corporations influence out of politic? But the American dream "Money, money, money, no matter what and how" is not in for that.

Trump is a formidable campaigner, but if he loses, it will be due to the Coranavirus, and specifically his mis-management in handling it when he had the power to make a huge difference.

If that happens, one could argue that China as indirectly managed to remove their biggest threat to their prosperous trade etc!

I think mostly this. But, I would add.

The left controls mass media. Thats tv and 95% of internet technology. Radio belongs to the right. And there are a few cable channels that are decidedly right, like oann and newsmax.

The left has also controlled the narrative over the last 4 years, so much so that the answer to anything bad is russia. Literally, u just have to say that word and it's understood that the right is guilty of some dirty trick.

The left also has the deep state. Recently passed an executive order that allows for the firing of career government officials, so there is hope that the swamp can be drained. But the deep state and security organs have lots of successful experience with color revolutions, so the odds lie with them.

The other thing is that trump supporters are usually responsible and own property. While bidens massive army of foot soldiers do not. This puts the advantage toward biden, as people can loot and burn things and go to jail, while a responsible person shoots one guy and the police will arrest him. Etc.

My guess is that biden will win, and then be removed from office, prob due to a new found interest in the hunter computer material that isn't interesting right now.

Unless trump can pull off some massive behind the scenes manouvers. Which is doubtful, because it would take measures similar to the ones that russia took back in 2011. Except it would also take mass arrests of people both big and small.

The people want trump, but the powers that be want biden.

    Corona virus blah blah blah.

Talk like this is crazy and demonstrates a lack of understanding of how the us works. It's up to the governor's, not the president. Look at it another way, talk like this is calling for dictatorial powers and decrees. So which is it? Trump is a fascist dictator or he should be a fascist dictator?

No country has done well, except sweden, which has done nothing.

Or maybe tawain. What did they do?

Bush beat gore because he had better lawyers, but mostly because he won fairly. The Dems are pretty good at cheating tho.

Tolko, there is SO much evidence that Trump was calling for travel bans while Pelosi was inviting everyone to Chinatown and the Left's tactic of the moment was to cast Trump as a controlling dictator that didn't allow any freedom. It's this shifting from one claim to a contradictory claim that affirms that it's really the Left, not Trump, that actually want to repeal freedoms and restrict people. Like AIM said, you're basically trying to have it both ways. So now you're saying Trump should have been more of a dictator?

He's going to be gone in 4 years no matter what, and the divisions will remain, while he will magically become unimportant. In any case.

Trump si not a bad candidate. I was a never-Trumper before he was elected, and I was forced to change my tune later. He's been better than any of the previous presidents in anything that ever mattered to ordinary working-class people. It's the elites and so-called educated class that hates him; the Establishment and all who have benefited heavily from globalism, "free trade", open borders, and the rest.

What happened in Florida was that Bush won by 500 votes or so...

After the State declared the tally complete, it was discovered that about 1% of the votes were not counted by the tabulating machines - the famous "hanging chad" cards. However, they could be looked at, inspected one-by-one, and hand-counted. If you did look at all the uncounted hanging-chad cards, then you would, statistically, get about the same ratio of votes for Gore and votes for Bush as in the election. The error was mechanical, not political.

The Democrats (Gore) sued to include the hanging-chad votes. They wanted them inspected and included in the final vote tally. But they wanted this correction or recount to occur only in certain areas of Florida. For example, in Palm Beach county, which Gore carried by 60-40, the 3000 chad votes, if included, would have broken about 1800-1200 for Gore, giving him enough votes to win Florida, and the election. (I'm guessing at these numbers, just making example). Gore also wanted to include the chad votes from 3 other heavily-Democratic counties, but not to recount or include chad votes from any other counties in Florida (the rest of Florida was heavily Republican).

The US Supreme Court disagreed. They said if you want to do a recount in Florida, you have to do a recount in ALL the counties of Florida, not just 4 counties.

I remember there was also the throwing away or delaying of overseas balloes, which meant military votes, prob for bush.
