Well, now we have had "Oil Wars" and soon there will be "Garbage Wars" ?

Although this article is a sort of neocon conservative attack on Russia, the US is also a country with a huge trash problem. The pot should not be calling the kettle black. North America sends large container ships and barges with tons of trash to Southeast Asia. What do they do with it? Maybe dump it in the Pacific? The poor whales and other sea-life are suffering, their usual breakfast and supper is mixed with plastic bags. The pretty plastic-wrapped fish you buy at the supermarket is chopped up fish who have plastic in their bellies...

China is late to the game, but will likely become the world's largest economy soon. Red China will also become, as well as the world's largest polluter, the largest producer of garbage in world history.

I used to think German policy was humorous - you are allotted a small container for your monthly trash. If you want a second container, then your trash bill is doubled. But maybe that's a good idea - make the consumer pay for it with his own money, then he will complain to the government to fix the problem.

Here's a job for WHO and the UN and the bureaucrats (who produce Himalayan mountains of trash with their paperwork) - actually do something, instead of pontificating and blaming everything on the evil Americans.

NATO can be used to clean up the planet, instead of bombing it...

Take out the papers and the trash
Or you don't get no spendin' cash
You better wax that kitchen flo'
Or you ain't rock 'n rollin' no mo'!
Yakety Yak! (Don't talk back!)
Ha haaa!

....You might as well get off your butt and

Just finish cleanin' up your room
Let's see that dust fly with that broom
Get all that garbage out of sight
Or you don't go out Friday night
