At best, he was badly concussed, but most probably has suffered brain damage....

Why did they not just walk past him? He posed no threat!
Cops shot a guy in a wheelchair in the face with a rubber bullet. Cops are now being more brutal to almost everyone. They are beating and gassing peaceful protesters and letting others loot and start fires. Cops have been caught burning their own cars, breaking windows and spray painting them. I saw a photo of cops using a power saw to break into a jewelry shop and announced that Rolex watches worth $2 million dollars were stolen but the Rolex company said there were no watches in that store so the cops were lying. The Washington post has been supporting the protesters but an Amazon fulfillment center was just burned to the ground so I think the WP will suddenly change their tune.

Yes, everything is about Trump, right?

Your statement just gives legitimacy to the theory that the Left/Media is so deranged they will suffer a deadly pandemic and engineer nationwide looting, rioting, raping and murdering in big cities across the US, rather than accept Trump as a legitimate president. Trump derangement syndrome, indeed.

Certainly, it gives cover to the Left/Media to alter election laws, such as banning in-person voting, and presents opportunities for the vermin of the Left to expand the scope of their fraudulent election activity.

This is all creating more racism too. A gang by the name of Latin Kings are beating black people that come into their neighborhood looking for food because all the food shops were burnt down in the black neighborhoods. They even shot dead the leader of a black gang. They say this is to protect their neighborhood from loot and fires in the rest of Chicago. They said the black people were stupid to destroy their own neighborhood and they don't see why they should help them and risk their homes for idiots. I don't blame them. 6 million guns have been sold since the beginning of May, 40% to first time gun owners. In some of the small towns around big cities gun owning citizens are patrolling the streets, ANTIFA has said that they are next after they get through with the city.

I watched that video. It looks like that guy tried to grab the cop's gun. The cop reacted by pushing him away. Yes, it's very bad the gun stumbled back and fell over, hitting his head on that flowerstand. That guy has a reputation for shouting and demonstrating at the city council meetings. Disruptive. Nothing wrong with that, but I can understand the cop's reaction to someone pawing at his belt. There is another story about how all 57 of the other cops on this Buffalo special riot squad have resigned, not in sympathy to the injured guy, but in sympathy to the two fired cops. I lived in Buffalo for a month. Most unfriendly city I have ever been to.

But I agree that, in general, police violence is growing problem in the US.

"Diversify" means to take a substance and break it up into its separate components.

So the Left tells us that we must respect our differences, or "celebrate diversity".

Then, after we have become separate, disparate camps - blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, men, women, gays, straights, rich, poor, Christians, Muslims, etc. - each group emphasizing how different from each other we are, the Left says we are not tolerant of the other groups. In other words, after the Left has driven us apart, on the basis of sociological-created group identities, then they accuse us of not being tolerant!

Me, I choose my friends or employees as individuals, and measure them by their abilities, not as members of "groups." I would never open a company in the US, where the business owner is at the constant mercy of civil rights laws which allow an employee to allege mistreatment on the basis of his group identity, rather than his individual job performance.

I'm interested, really. Anyone. What would the fault line be in the event of a civil unrest earthquake?

And if you says that the sides would be Pro-Trump or Anti-Trump, then what are the criteria by which one could be identified with a "side"?

Or if you take it down another level, say, the schism is between those who believe in traditional morality and structured ethics, versus those who espouse values, (in both sides attempts to create a sense of "right" and 'wrong") that would also be fuzzily-defined. Most people will contend they lead moral lives, and they also believe in values.

So, can we take it down another level or two, and get to some understanding of what the American divide is all about? Or is it even a divide? To me it is a fractioning, but even then, there would be some commonalities which could comprise two disparate points of view. How are people attracted to either pole?

If you're talking about the old guy with the white hair, he had something in both hands, and he just made a motion with his hand to the cops truncheon ,that's hardly going for a cops gun.

It's a group of people who want to end America as we know it. They want a more globalized country under a Communist or Socialist government. This is coming from both inside and outside the US. Trump just scared the hell out of corrupt Democrats that he would expose the normal business of foreign aid and the kick backs politicians take while giving it out. Like the billion dollars Biden was holding bavk until his son was safe, that money went into a private bank and started to disappear. Some was sent to George Soros NGOs, some right to Biden. Obamagate is out of the bag now but is there time? If Trump doesn't get elected the Democrats will just let it die. There is also Adam Schiff and his collection of phone records. Nancy Pelosi seems untouchable, her husband made some stock market moves that made her $3.5 million dollars the last few months but not one word about it.

My only question is, what the hell do the Russian powers that be have in mind for this great country; why did THEY choose to jump on this authoritarian bandwagon??

As an American I am so hurt and distressed to see the looting and rioting that is being allowed to continue under the auspices of the first amendment! And I am so pissed that the Russians were allowed to leave their slave system without a single shot fired in the 90s, yet in my country it will take a hot war to set things straight. Does God really look down upon us Americans that much!? :'(
I think it was two things, a test of biological attack response, test tracking citizens and people in Russia in case of war.

Or it could be to stop the spread of the virus which would have overwhelmed the healthcare system leading to a complete collapse and possibly many more deaths.

The health care system was not overwhelmed (in the US) , except briefly in New York, when the mayor idiotically ordered that the Coronavirus-afflicted be sent to nursing homes, where the disease raced like wildfire through those facilities. And he also allowed the homeless to sleep on subway cars during the night, which helped spread the disease through the homeless and subway passenger populations.

Belarus and Sweden governments did not mandate fundamental changes in interpersonal and traditional behavior, yet they suffered no statistically significant deviation from the rates of affliction in other countries.

The scientists told us that this was a new type of disease, and passed the ball to the media. The media frightened everyone with predictions of doom and gloom, and passed the ball to the government. The legal authorities at all levels of government then used this bogus "scientific information" and the fear engendered by the media to "fix" the problem, to impose new behavioral guidelines, and assumed new power and control, legitimizing the scary stories of the media and increasing funding for scientific research which would validate the theories that Chinese coronavirus was the deadliest disease ever. Each of these entities - media, science and government, may not have conspired in secret meetings, but each benefited from the disease, and reinforced each other. The media gained credibility and power, the research scientists gained more funds from the government and Big Medicine, the government gained more power to regulate behavior. A perfect example of the "Science-Media-Government Complex" as detailed in Michael Crichton's "State of Fear".

Do such riot squads in the US of A generally carry sidearms / pistols?

Was this particular officer you are referencing have a pistol on his tactical belt?

Most riot squads will not carry sidearms in case they are taken off them by the protesters and ten used against the Police.................

This one still bothers me, cause it's nearby. About 50 heavily-armed cops surrounded a house after a fake phone call. The caller (falsely) said he was inside the house and was holding people hostage. The actual house owner opened his door, and some screwball nazi cop just flat out blew him away.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Wichita_swatting

The police refused to release the records of the incident to the public, and that bad cop (he has prior complaints about violent behavior) is still working there.

No outrage from the media, no protests, cause the guy was white.

When the cops kill someone, it's an "accident." But if a police dog is killed, that's "murder of a police officer."
