the Pope says the Bible -needs renewing because it is out dated...

The Vatican surprised the entire Christian world with the statement of Pope Francis. The Pope shared the opinion that the content of the Bible is outdated. The text of the Holy Scripture needs adjustments.
The theologian is ready to organize a meeting of the highest ranks of the Church. At the Congress, it is planned to determine the possible replacement of the Book with another source, as well as choose a suitable title, reports Thereisanews.com. one option is "Bible 2000".
"We cannot communicate with the people with the help of the Bible, which is two thousand years old. We're losing the flock. The Church needs to be modernized. The text of Scripture will have to be edited, even if it is only the old Testament. It contains stories that are better not to repeat, " Francis said.

Fake news. But somewhat believable, given how much this pope rejects Catholic tradition in favor of feelies.

well, maybe -someone - will find the wedding certificate of HIM and Maria of Magdala. And that will be the end of the celibate priesthood. Because forever the man in Rome will not be able to keep them the way it is now...

What always happens in Christian history is that when the religion becomes legal, people become nominal, and more and more fall away from the traditions, until only a tiny minority still hold on to them. But the tiny minority survives. The majority effectively drop the faith altogether, except in name, and you can’t distinguish their lives and behavior from the rest of the world, and people rightly ask, “Why should we buy into this? We already do all of this without them.” They come to hate the hypocrisy of the majority, and the nominals fall away and become something else. Then, when the world grows weary of the meaninglessness and emptiness of all of their pleasures, they note the tiny group that still has something they are ready to die for that opposes their cheap pleasures and thrills, and some hate the exposure of their hypocrisy and begin to persecute them, others see the persecution and, feeling the emptiness of having nothing worth dying for, and seeing that those fanatical Christians do, begin to desire it, and instead of persecution stamping out the Faith, it waters it with the blood of the martyrs. And the Faith grows again, and comes back from the dead, and people believe it again. Then it becomes legal again, and the wheel slowly rolls around...

so, nothing is new, it was here already, is gone and will come back again and again and again?

The point is, it is something more real and permanent than its enemies, who predict the death of the Faith, and wind up dying themselves, and the Faith is still here.
