    Virginia Governor Endorses Post-Birth Abortion

You won't hear about this on CNN...

    Virginia-governor-defends-killing-babies-after-theyre-born/

The Governor of Virginia was talking about abortion this morning. He’s a Democrat, obviously. His name is Northam. The press calls him a moderate. He wants to change abortion law to let babies be born and then be kept comfortable for a time and then abort it. With a straight face. He is talking about killing infants.

Here’s the quote: “If a mother is in labor… the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and mother,” if she wants to eliminate.

This follows a new law in New York State that allows abortions until the moment of birth. A bill which allows non-doctors to perform abortions, signed by Governor Mario "the Pious" Cuomo, and passed with the legislators, and legislatorettes, shouting like cheerleaders.

If the Left is allowed to kill new-born infants, then the next step is legalized killing of other "unnecessary" people - troublesome youths and the nonproductive elderly.

Forget about America as a threat to the rest of the world - a country that kills its own offspring is committing suicide.

The Governor, who also happens to be a pediatrician:

"When we talk about third-trimester abortions, these are done with the consent of obviously the mother, with the consent of the physicians, more than one physician, by the way," Northam said. "And it's done in cases where there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus that's non-viable. So in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."

In an interview with The Daily Caller, President Trump said that Northam's comments were "terrible."
"This is going to lift up the whole pro-life movement like maybe it's never been lifted up before. The pro-life movement is very much a 50-50, it's a very 50-50 issue, actually it's gained a point or two over the years," Mr. Trump said.

"This is horrific," Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted. "Dem Gov. Ralph Northam, a pediatrician himself, is defending born-alive abortions: 'The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired.'"

"This is simply pure evil," conservative commentator Ben Shapiro tweeted.

Any way it is presented, to kill a human being after it is born, even for the most reasonable of reasons, is a basic re-writing of our basic concepts of right and wrong.

Consider that mass-murderers can not be executed because of "moral concerns" or it's "inhumane" but the same crowd now condones infanticide.

Some things are worth fighting and dying for to end. Slavery was one. Abortion even more so.

A society cannot exist half-abortive and half-life-is-sacred. It must become all one thing or all the other. And in the end, one that becomes all-abortive will eventually abort itself.

You cannot have rational dealings with people or a society that approves killing their own babies. I think that was a prime reason Rome destroyed Carthage rather than absorbing it. You can’t have “just a little bit of slavery” and expect that it won’t spread. Science has made it possible to see babies in the womb and to see that they are already human. There was a rag of an excuse when people could imagine that babies were just “blobs of tissue”, but ultrasound has put an end to that. To OK killing manifestly human babies is inhuman; the person has lost their humanity, like the Talking Beasts in the last book of Lewis’s “Chronicles of Narnia”.

Every year in January, the March for Life is attended by half a million people, or so. I can verify that because I lived in the area. It's very difficult to find the attendance figures using Google. I don't blame Google, mostly the media low-balls or ignores the attendance figures.

    Pro-life-movement-still-massive-diverse/article_adc03e87-9faa-5857-b904-27637598e327.html

Over the past few years, the attendance has been estimated at between 400,000 and 650,000 participants. It seems reasonable to expect that 46 straight years of hundreds of thousands of Americans converging on the Supreme Court would be considered a newsworthy event.
The protest march is remarkable by any standard but is routinely overlooked by major television and print news outlets who typically allocate coverage measured in seconds. Saying it garners scant attention from the mainstream media is a gross understatement.
By comparison, the focus on the Women’s March reveals the true lack of media reporting for the March for Life. Media Research Center studies show the “Women’s March” received 129 times more coverage on ABC, CBS and NBC during their morning and evening newscasts.
The Women’s March, which has no clear-cut purpose other than anti-Trump virulence and a militant pro-abortion agenda, received a fawning 75 minutes of network exposure while the March for Life received a paltry 35 seconds.

And every year, the media ignores the march. Or estimates attendance at "thousands." No pictures, that would give away the game.

Now the media exclusively focuses on a rival, but tiny, "Women's March", as if all women are in favor of abortion on demand.

My question is, where is this Pope? No comment from the Vatican? He seems to be merely a Social Justice Warrior.

This year, the media went into a lunatic frenzy, attacking a kid who was wearing a MAGA hat after attending the March: Expat.ru - Current Affairs - More-fake-news
