he said that he will not support the chain any further. Shows that just because one has a big name and is a star Chef, does not mean automatically the places will work.
Did not work with Planet Hollywood.Did not work with Sarah Wiener.
Suppose Italians should run an Italian restaurant and cook spaghetti - a la Mamma- and Farfalle with lots of Cream and Parmesan.THAT is what people expect and are prepared for to pay. So, give it to them. And all the diets, nouvelle cousine, low fat, no fat, no carbs, no this and only that? Well, preaching is one thing. Doing it another.

anyone hear about the -Jamie Effect- on/in English schools? Jamie wanted to have for the kids in their cafeteria healthy and better food. no sweet gunk, no sodas, no, milky way, no chips, and all these - good- things. Kids just did not go for it. And so parents, mainly mothers, brought their kids lunch to the school. since they could not go inside, they handed the sandwiches and stuff, from the outside over the fence to their kids. i can not find the link anymore. but it was a big thing and lots of laughter on the very popular ORF show -Was gibt es Neues-. And they also showed a great pic, the mothers hanging on the the school's fence with one hand. And throwing over the lunch boxes with the other. Jamie has left that project as well, and i don't know what food is being served now in Brit school cafeterias...9 fro mthe Cafeteria project he went to the italian project...)
