I was listening on the radio yesterday, Business FM, that is, and every speaker there was advising selling $$$. Though they also said by rubles. fair enough I suppose. I prefer the EURO, for the simple reason, going back for a vacation with that money I can pay all over Europe. Swiss francs i would have to change once more.

that is because if they say to buy dollars, they are pro-american and anti-russian, which means they get a knock on the door.

also, and its prob a small side biz, if you sell dollars and buy something else, the banks get a commission, or, and i just had this idea, if you sell dollars and buy something else, the bank increases its stock of dollars, thus giving it a nice balance sheet/reserves when the rub spikes 100.
