    Any ex-pats in Orel?

    Hi

I'm a British teacher spending a month in the town of Orel (Oryol) 5 hours from Moscow working as a Governess for a private family. I feel like i am possibly the only ex-pat in town ! Not sure if this is the right place to post but would anyone know how to make contact with other English speakers in town, if there are any. I only have basic Russian.
    thanks
    Rebecca

Don't know about Oryol, but after 10 years or so in Kashin I'm pretty sure I am the only expat. You might try sticking up/posting inquiries at bus stops, on posts, at shops etc. (I'm sure you've seen the likes, usually about jobs, proffers for windows & doors) if truly interested. I have never done that, and assuming you're a woman, would not suggest that. Just a thought.

    How many peeps in Oryol?

I would try the bars. Pick one that has lots of young Russian girls in it.
