VV signed new Internet Libel law,no more calling names allowed...

and sites could be closed if they do not remove the content. so, very careful here before RL calls us -Kvass patriots-. Someone could take it serious and call Rospotrebnadzor...

And no more Expat if they do not remove the post...
On the one hand it is a correct law. because on a keyboard, hiding behind the anonymity of the Internet it is easy to post something that is utterly fake, false and indeed damaging. but does it mean admin has to monitor each and every post 24-7 so that nothing defamatory might slip through? no more -life- posting? but done as it is with many posts in newspapers. you get a message that the post or reply will be checked before published. and no posting after working hours... the controllers are gone home...

It's ok, none of us are public figures, but we have got to be careful, not to repost any " defamatory information about public figures" .
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed new legislation allowing authorities to block websites that publish defamatory information about public figures.

I like the term "Kvass patriots" , it's witty.

I'm pretty sure this site will remove RL's lies and falsehoods but there is another site that shall remain nameless that better lawyer up. This unnamed site seems to likes defamation of public figures.
