They have to prove it which could be hard. He still says he was never there.

The out-going Obama administration, at the highest levels in coordination with the media, conspired to create news stories that supported a FISA warrant based on politically-motivated opposition research to undermine the newly-elected President of the United States.

Moreover, it knowingly omitted material facts to the court not once, but four times, to keep that surveillance warrant open in service of this operation. A warrant the FBI deputy director, Andrew McCabe, testified under oath to Congress that was key to its issuance.

They knew the dossier on Trump, compiled by Michael Steele, was unverifiable. They hid its origin and motivation from the court. The information from this warrant and the details of the dossier were used to move public opinion and Congress into supporting Robert Mueller’s investigation.

    But, to what end?

To disgrace and force from office the President of the United States. Thus, these people, and the leadership of the Democratic Party, President Obama himself and Hillary Clinton’s staff all conspired to criminally disenfranchise more than 60 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump.

    Where is Christopher Steele?

    Why hasn’t he testified?

If he refuses, why isn’t he being hounded by the media to answer questions about his "Trump Dossier"? Has the media been asleep for the last two years?

Skripal was an associate of both Pablo Miller and Christopher Steele, both former MI-6 agents working for Orbis Business Intelligence.

    And so Skripal is poisoned.

Who benefits from this? Certainly not Russia. Not the UK, not the US.

The Deep State benefits, by terminating a credible witness who can testify about Steele's fake dossier. Could Skirpal blow the lid off the cesspool of corruption leading to and swirling around the Mueller's hydra-headed investigation/persecution/attempted overthrow of a legitimately-elected president?

And so no contact is being allowed with the two victims, not by the media, not even by their close relatives. The Deep State doesn't want to be exposed for their attempted assassination, nor for their fake dossier.

Reportedly they have incontrovertible proof...........denial is pointless!

All they have to do now is prove what the discussions were about between Cohen and the former Russian Intelligence Officers; it certainly seems that it was yet another dubious meeting between those close to Trump and former Russian Intelligence Officers.

Maybe so but right now a judge said the FBI must stop looking.

Not exactly. They must stop looking while the search is challenged by Cohen and Trump's lawyers. May be decided tomorrow. Normal court challenge process. Far too early to say the search is over or the point won by Cohen/Trump - just on hold.

Cohen and Trump cannot have it both ways............If Trump knew nothing about the Stormy Daniels payment and there was no direction given by Trump, there were no discussions had with Cohen, then there is no Attorney-Client Privilege and also no legally binding NDA..............

Trump and Cohen are on a loser with this.......................

Cohen has probably used Campaign Funds to pay off Daniels and other females which breaks various Financial Acts which will result in a criminal conviction and time inside................

Of course, once Cohen realises the enormity of what he has foolishly done, the FBI will use it as leverage to determine what actually occurred in Prague at those meetings with former Russian Intelligence Officers.............

Whilst on the subject of the cesspit, Trump's pardoning of Scooter Libby who had been charged with lying to the FBI investigating the unauthorised disclosure of a CIA agent's identity was a very cynical move and clearly pardoned to send a message to Trump's allies who are facing upcoming FBI interviews.....................

Ms Plame, the innocent victim and a career CIA officer, stated, "It's very clear that this is a message he (Trump) is sending, that you can commit crimes against national security and you will be pardoned".

Yeah and what about Susan Rice? Comey Cover up of Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton meeting with Lynch, money laundering by Hillary Clinton and the DNC, Comey leaking FBI documents, and on and on, but nothing was done about any of that and more. I'm not saying Trump is not a crook, it's the blatant double standards in America that makes it a farse.

OUt there on the web are the filings by the US attorney's office in opposition to Cohen's claim. It's worth reading.

But big picture: the way they have these teams set up (which they make clear) is that one group within FBI/US attorney's office (the 'taint team') filters and passes to the other team. Their entire reason for being is to make sure that the prosecution doesnt' access privileged client-attorney stuff.

Since the eventual prosecution will inevitably be challenged, and anything that qualifies as privileged will mean a very high likelihood that any resulting case will be thrown out, they have every incentive to be very, very careful.

Trump's attorneys challenge will be interesting. But will probably fail. The USAttorney's filing makes clear they are using the right tests and methods, and have legal precedent on their side.

And remarkably, Cohen has made their case harder: since he's claimed he did stuff not acting for Trump (the NDA and payments), but then made very broad claims about client-attorney privilege (when in fact he had basically no clients except Trump and Trump Organization), and they have info to support that he was hiding a crime.

Since Trump is clearly an interested party in not letting this stuff out, US attorney can clearly argue this is self-motivated and potentially criminal evidence.

The decision of the court is pretty simple: the judge will almost certainly tell Trump's lawyers that should privileged info be used against him, they will have every opportunity to challenge the use of privileged info (i.e. get the evidence thrown out if done in contravention).

I think this is most likely a delaying tactic. I expect them to claim executive privilege either in this hearing or in an immediate challenge afterwards (which they will also lose - executive privilege for discussions with a lawyer not acting as lawyer who has no official role in government and is on the finance committee of RNC? Don't make me laugh. But they'll claim it.).

The reason this hydra-headed Witch Trial spouted another head was to HIDE the collusion between Mueller and his BFF the New York attorney. This way, the corrupt NY attorney can p**** under the table, to the corrupt Mueller, anything he digs up. And both of them spout more leaks to the media than a colander.

The Deep State Trump Persecutors don't Tiptoe through the Tulips to keep scrupulously within established procedure - they show up at 3 AM, smash down the door, with 20 armed thugs and loot and ransack your house.

I thought you claimed that collusion is not a crime?

Mueller's only allowed to investigate certain things. He's supposed to pass info about crimes to other prosecutors. All by the book.

It has the added advantage of distancing further from any attempt to fire Mueller or Rosenstein, too. But all by the book.

Anything obtained that Trump etc claim was privileged, they can challenge in court - and if it meets the tests for privilege, they would likely win that.

Trump should be praying they will use privileged info - it would be a real get out of jail free card.

You really believe this Alice in Wonderland scenario.

    Is Santa Claus real, too?

Mueller could not LEGALLY go after Trump's lawyer, it is outside his purview, so he had his buddy, the NY AG, who had the FBI raid every office, home and storage place Trump's lawyer ever used.

Then he will pass this mountain of information on to his buddy Mueller everything. Mueller or the NY AG will grill Trump's lawyer and trip him up with a misstatement, like "I saw him at 9:10 PM," and the next time he is grilled, he says "I saw him at 9:15" and for that "mis-recollection" he will be charged with "lying to the FBI' and "conspiracy" and "mail fraud" and "obstruction of justice" and he will be threatened with a lifetime in jail unless he agrees to testify against Trump.

What's ILLEGAL is ABUSE of POWER by this anti-Trump, Deep State bureaucrat/Hillary Supporter - Mueller. LEAKING privileged information to the media, MISUSING the POWER of his office to persecute innocent citizens.
