    In the village here, many of the streets have Deutsch names, such as "Listerscheid" or "Attendorn" (from "Attendorf") or "Westphalia".

    it would have to be an (un) educated guess. but i would rather think WW1 or earlier.
    i wrote to the city of Worms, if the Fotografische Institut still exists, or if there might be some more information about it.

    if the people have been of some local importance, maybe it would be an idea?google -WORMS,HISTORISCHES MUSEUM- and see what you get. write to them.
