Education options for gifted: workshop
Dear all,
Since a few years ago, Russia joined the World Council for Gifted --- and this summer, for the first time took part in the biennial global conference aimed at experience sharing & networking.
Leader of the local Council for Gifted, Andrey Barkin, is scheduled to deliver a workshop for parents in Moscow, in a week's time. A special focus would be on teen-age school children and their options to navigate the evolving "ecosystem".
Registrations are open at https://www.facebook.com/events/310538142751328/ or at https://talentcourt.timepad.ru/event/549665/
Please consider attending to discuss how to best ensure that your gifted kid would shine, for years to come.
Warm regards + bon weekend

He he
Well, Einstein (among many others) had been far from a gifted child. He, however, grew into a very clever operator - as an adult )
So, fully agree on this point.
Otherwise, the official concept that governs all the work with gifted - the crowd from Guardian office would likely endorse it, as it states "Every child is gifted"

Which does not prevent parents from feeling otherwise
Wishing everyone great if a bit rainy weekend
