    March Arrival

    Hello All,

    I'm a British civil engineer.

I arrived in Moscow at the end of March this year to begin a new assignment.

Previously I worked and lived in Bosnia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Abu Dhabi, Lesotho and South Africa.

My interests include hill-walking, bread-baking and learning Russian .

    Regards,

    David

Hi David, welcome to the machine,

Can't say there are a lot of hills in Moscow (fairy tales say, 7 of them) but you can try Vorobievy gory (the same name of metro station on the red line, SW) and the territory near Krylatskoe.
    All the world's Kremlin,
And all the men and women merely agents

Glad to read that you are a civil engineer and not an uncivil engineer!

    Welcome to The Rotten Onion!

By any chance, are you employed on the Kerch Bridge project or perhaps restoring power and water to Donestk?
Если враг в пределах досягаемости, то и вы тоже!

David, I'm an uncivil engineer, mechanical and electrical.

    Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum.

Yes, I am one of a mythical breed.

Because as everyone knows, there is no such thing as a civil engineer .

No, I am not employed on the Kerch Bridge project or restoring power and water to Donestk.

For my sins, I am working on Central Ring Road 3.

    David
