Mercedes Benz 180 head gasket repair?

    Hi!
I have a head gasket problem in my car engine (MB 180 C), I would like to know the price range of repairing that in saint-petersburg. I have contacted some garages owners , but i have not gotten a quote yet.
I actually live in Finland, but here repairing the car costs so much that buying a new one is less expansive.
    Thank you!

    Petrol, 1.8 4 cylinders engine.
It is an old module of the year 1994. But still smooth and not in a very bad shape.

ok, as you know i live in MOSCOW, but if you are still interested i will ask a professional mechanic-driver how much... will take a day or two though. though one thing i do recommend as a (past,Mercedes only ever) driver. let it be done only at a Merc authorized workshop. it pays for sure in the long run. and helps with documentation, when selling your car.

ok, tomorrow, sunday, i will know how much it will be.ONLY THE SPARE PARTS. because labor cost is different in every shop. but there will be also an approximate estimate.

sorry took some time to get togehter..
    10 000 rubles for labor
    15.000 rubles for the gasket
BUT should it be needed and necessary to grind down the -engine block- so the gasket will fit perfectly, that will be extra. how much can and will be determined only when the mechanic will see the situation and condition of the engine.
these are the prices from a work shop, with official stamps and papers, not a one garage, one man, workshop.and obvious, because i am here, Moscow.

Thanks anyway, i have asked a Mercedes-benz professional. The cost was a blazing 82 000 russian rubles in Saint peteresburg!
That is the equivalent of 1550 Euro, In Estonia i got a quote of 830 Euro. But yea, unless there is someone who is willing to make a better quote i am not going there.
