Look at your connection details, there is probably an IP address or a domain name.

How do you find out which ones are available in your building (besides pestering your neighbours)? Is there a website where you can type in your address and see what's availble? Thanks!

I'd add the OnLime, fair prices and speed and stable enough. This one and Stream (I'm not sure about all the others) have a WiFi option (depending on what type of modem/router you buy/have). It's very handy for those who prefer working on a laptop at different places around an apartment (as I do) or have to do this for some other reasons.

There are also some mobile internet schemes/plans, please ask your mobile provider about the details. It's much more expensive but very convenient when for some reason you have no access to your regular connection.

There are also WiFi networks working around the city - like GoldenTelecom or Yota, please check their websites.

What's the difference between the normal ADSL at Stream and the ADSL2+ they offer?

    I'm looking at:
ADSL 6 Mbit Down/768kbit Up for 730 RUB
    ADSL 2+ 10Mbit Down/896 kbit Up for 800 RUB

There is not so much difference between the two tariffs - why is 10Mbit only 70 RUB more expensive for ADSL2+ but 1180 RUB for ADSL? (10 Хит)

In that case I would of course prefer 10Mbit for 800 RUB.... but don't know if I can get it without problems?

Funny - Stream.ru tells me that normal Stream is not available for my phone number, but ADSL2+ is? Why is that?

They also don't have billing/account pages in German, French, Spanish, Chinese and hundreds of other languages. So what?
