A famous musical and art event called "December evening of Svyatoslav Rikhter" will start in the State Museum of Fine Arts named after Pushking on the 4th of December. Svyatoslav Rikhter (1915-1997) was a great Russian pianist. He and the museum's director Antonova first organised a festival of classical music and art in 1981. Now the festival has become a tradition of the Museum of Fine Arts named after Pushkin. It's series of concerts where famous musicians from Russia and Europe will play classical musical compositions in the environment of paintings exhibited especially for the event.
