Proof of Residence... How to handle this...

For some business abroad I need to proof that I am a resident in Russia. Normally this is done with a utility bill. I am living however in a apartment covered by the company and no bills at my name...

Does anyone know how to still get somehow a proof from the government that I live here at a specific physical address? The normal certificate of residence, which has my company address on it, does not seem to be accepted.

    Any ideas?

    your registration

    suggestion one:
i would assume you are registered and have that little stamped piece of paper?
did you and someone go with you to the post office and register you there ( and than send the form off to the OBD). you should get the small aprt as proof. which shows your name and physical address where you live.

    suggestion two:
if this is not the case, ask in your personal dept about your registration.
if the comapny has that not done and they look at you with big eyes than
you know they did not register you....
There is no greater treasure then pleasure....

technically the term 'resident' in russia means that you have permanent residency permit here... banks will normally ask you this question

If they want to know if you are a tax resident, you can prove with your passport and stamps that you have been in Russia more than 183 days out of the past 365 days.
