Sorry Yak those public health warnings have been around since the beginning of the 1900s well before any immigration factors came into play
Also I am led to believe they had to be done as visual messages as the general population had trouble with reading signs (especially in Queensland )

Crocs. No crocs in NZ (I believe), just lots & lots of rabbits and sheep.

The middle one should be Kiwiland because of 'penguins'.

The bottom one looks to be a sign from Kakadu, OZ. A couple of years ago, German tourists swimming in a pool there got eaten because they couldn't read the English [NO SWIMMING] sign.

Middle on is Boulders Beach. just South of Simonstown (Capetown. South Africa) I actually lived just down the road from the beach when I was a kid- and penguins did have the tendency to get under the cars.

We have plenty of penguins in Australia ( a fact few believe) from Jervis bay near Sydney to French Island near Melbourne and many other places.
