    American guy in Rostov

    Hi Everyone.

My name is Andy or you can also call me Andre. I am currently in Rostov as an English teacher. I am a 26 years old male. I am pretty lonely here. I am currently leaving with my brother and his 2 friends. I will be moving to my flat near my school on universitetsky st on the 15th of July when I come back from Sochi ( summer camp to teach English to kids for 2 weeks ).

Anyways I do not know any Russian although I am trying my best to learn. I was raised in America my whole life but my parents are Armenian (so I guess I am an American Armenian ) Well what I am trying to say is I need some friends who speak English or Armenian who we can all hangout with and that might help me to learn a little Russian and also get out of this boring stage.

So if your interested in having a drink or dinner, message or pm me.

    Thanks.

    Hi namesake,
There should be big Armenian diaspora in Rostov (we mean -na-Donu, not Veliky, right?), try to watch around... It is called Novo-Nahichevanskaya:

Thank you namesake but I would seriously want to make friends here without going through the hassle of searching for Armenian people. I'm more interested in Russian people with some knowledge of the English language.

    But thanks anyways.

Then search Rostov subforum here, try to send PMs to those people who posted...

And go to the Rostov university, try to meet different people, learn where they hang out - I think you can find more English-speakers there (and potential clients/students too!)
