    "Spouse" visa

About a year ago there was a rumor that there would soon be a Spouse Visa, so that those of us married to Russians might just be able to get something like TRP but with less hassle.
My wife asked my local UFMS about it, but they said they hadn't yet received the corresponding instructions from government in order to implement it.
    Anyone else heard anything different?

Your FMS does not know, because it was not intended for them.
The spouse visa is for those people, married to a Russian partner, living abroad. The Russian partner can `invite` his/her partner to visit family in Russia.
This is definitely not a TRP-light.
