Do not trust their website, call them, or go there.

Sorry, but you think they have an updated website all the time? You think everything is working flawless on their website? You think, that if there is bug, even a small one, on their website, then they will fix it right away? Dream on. It is not important for their business that their website is updated, you have no other choice than to use them, and it cost money to have an updated website.

Here in St. Petersburg we should be able to get a talon on their website, and many more things should be doable that way, but nothing works and it had been so for years, and if you ask "why do your website not work?", the answer is "Come to us and ask your questions", that is "come and queue up and waste a day for even the smallest thing". And it is 30-40 minutes of walk for the nearest metro, but the view over the river is beautiful there.

Well, well, well, with your guidance and advice I have done it, Entered Russia for the fifth time on a business 90 day visa 20/06/2019. via Latvia/Russia with my car. M9 to Moscow.

Got to Krasnoyarsk via Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, a Journey of a life time, “of the Bucket List”.

I found that my TPR has been approved already, two months ago, backward and forward between two offices, my wife was my guide and translator, and the café opposite one of the offices was the printer/copier, my car was great help, and within one week I got first my Visa was stamped as extinguished, next page on my passport is the 3 years TPR, and the next page was my three years multiple entry Visa. And I still have my immigration card that was issued at my entry to Russia.

Ladies and Gents, what is next?....... I will be thankful for any comments,

Of course I will make my return to France with my car before the road condition in Siberian winter. I think I am not restricted to depart Russia within the 90 days of entry, that was eliminated, I can exceed the 90 days without penalty, harrayyyyy.

I have one nagging question, I know that a foreign passport holder can not enter Russia via Belarus, there is no Russian Passport control, only customs control.

    How about this:
Next time can I enter Russia via Belarus instead of Latvia with my car, “save 200miles”, will there be any consequence? Mmmmmmmm I do not know!!!!! Worth making the extra 200 miles? I may ask this question to the Russian consulate, or is the answer is obvious to you all? Please tell me.

    Best Regards to you all.

Have a look at the paperwork you got on/for you car when you entered, there may by some limitation to how long the car can stay in Russia, that is: Limitation different to what goes for you as a person.
I had once overstayed with 10 minutes, huge problem on the borderline when I was going out of Russia.

Congratulations on the journeys so far completed, both of them!

It's not obvious to me if transit visas for Belarus are possible, particularly when travelling by car.
You might like to take look at the information on the Belarus UK Embassy (http://uk.mfa.gov.by/en/consular_issues/visas/) and also the information provided by the British FCO (https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-ad...y-requirements).

Don't forget that, whilst the TRP does not need to be renewed, our registration does.

I'm assuming that you will also be applying for permanent residency. You don't have to wait until the end of your TRP's validity to do that. In fact, you can start the process as early as six months after the granting of the TRP. The law states that PRP can be granted after a minimum of 12 months temporary residency, but since it takes them 6 months to process the application, you can actually apply in advance. That's what I have done.
