Have to re-login every 5 minutes

The most annoying thing about this site is that you have to re-login every 5 minutes no matter what you do - whether you read someone's posts, or compose your own, or just leave the site for a short while. Is there anything I could do?

Am not an IT expert, but try clearing your 'cookies'....................

That is not so. I can log in any day and every day without having to log in. Enable your cookies in your browser. Do make sure that it is your own personal laptop.

r u on some kind of wifi signal like golden wifi?

what could be happening is you are getting disconnected from your wifi, a new ip address is assigned therefore a new login would be required. there is nothing u can do in this case

if u are using a cable connection then it could be something else, try clearing your cookies as another user suggested

another option try using a different browser ie if u are using firefox use ie or vice versa
