need excellent divorce lawyer/Moscow between US citizen and russian citizen

i am in urgent need of an excellent divorce lawyer in Moscow. It is highly possible my case will gain a good bit of publicity, and be of interest to a high profile firm. The situation is completely hostile, and there is no means to find a peaceful solution. The main issues involve my 5 year old daughter who was kidnapped to Russia 3 years ago from the US.

look, i am asking for referrals and some help in finding a lawyer in Moscow who has some understanding of recent laws and general experience with US/Russian divorce.

i can appreciate someone wrote something amusing, but this my daughter's well being i am trying to protect. a wonderful little girl is being used as a pawn, a weapon in a dangerous game. at her mother's house she abused emotionally, and physically.

I need help, not funny remarks.

I can recommend law firm Yustina. Not cheap, but very professional. I've only used them in criminal and commercial litigation, but they do have a couple of guys who specialise in divorce.

try Inurcollegia (http://www.injur.ru/eng.html), they are quite good at matrimonial cases. I worked with them several years ago on international family cases with children involved... But this case can be a difficult one as there is no treaty on rendering legal assistance between Russia and USA.

well, you are not the only one who is in this kind of situation. my daughter is being abuse in US by her mother also, and that is killing me, i tryed every option that i know. but at the end whatever is the outcome of russian or european laws, US says i dont care.

orlando - sorry to hear about your situation. but to be clear - my wife is russian, and she has my daughter in moscow. I am a US citizen and have been living in russia for over 3 years now, supporting all of us (mother of course does not work and blackmails me).

Both of you sound pathetic. Both of your wives are "abusing" your children. You both sound like bitter men who are trying to use your children as pawns. Women SHOULD have the children. If you were both nice about things and tried to be more objective, I would think that something reasonable could be worked out. PS I am a man but have seen so many stupid men ruin their marriages and then want to punish their wives and use the children to do so. PPS Since I am using a generalization about most of the men I have seen in this situation, I apologize if both of you are the exception to the rule and your wives really are the evil creatures you portray them to be.
