    PARALYMPICS a non event?

    http://www.vancouver2010.com/paralympic-games/
no news anywhere but Russia is first and has more Gold then in the 'norma'# olympics. hat off for the people with no arms and legs but for sure more HEAD then all the rest togehter.maybe Plushenko and co should get a trainer from them, who will make them work, forget their star status and bring them back down to earth. and just fire the whole bunch of unneccesary hangers on as well. they did not bring anything.
and spare me words, vancouver was only the training for Sochi, NO sportsman/women will see it that way. it is the culmination for anyone, to win at the oplympics. and a 'STRONG' fourth or fifth, is no more medal, period.....

I believe Ukraine is in third and they received zero medals in the regular olympics.

For the Summer Paralympics in Bejing, One Canadian won 5 gold medals and almost a world record in each event. She was awarded the athlete of the year for all of Canada.
So they do recongnized, but it takes more to get in the public eye.
