The apartment sounds great. If I'm successful at getting a job in Moscow in February or March, I'll definitely contact you if the apt is still available.
Would you consider a short term (few days) rental while i'm in Moscow?
    Thanks
    Tom

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. I'm married, with a 9 year old son and an eight year old daughter. No pets except for a small guinea pig in a cage. And a fish tank, sometimes with fish, but mostly without! :>)

    one more clarification

"Would you consider a short term (few days) rental while i'm in Moscow?"

what i meant to say above is that I'm first spending a few days in Moscow in late February (most likely) interviewing, then returning to the U.S. for a few weeks, then hopefully returning to Moscow for a very long period of time. Since we already have a couple of flats in Saratov (where my wife is from), we want to keep them, and just do a long-term rental in Moscow.

After i read my earlier posts, I thought I would make those a little clearer.

Hi Tom! I wish I could help you with accommodation, but I'm afraid it will be too late. We leave on February 18, and the apartment should be rented by this date, as nobody can take care of it after we leave. However, I do not want to use any intermediate agencies, and that's why I am offering my apartment here. Anyway, feel free to contat me if your circumstances changed.

    Regards,
    Mike
