First of all welcome to the site. And talking of small towns and vilages in Russia including those surrounding the Moscow region.

I am living in Gorki 10. I suppose when I first arrived here over five years ago when it was a village. But it has grown since, with a Periatrustic supermarket, in fact three supermarkets and two small indoor shopping centres. I would call it a town now. In fact population wise compared to UK it certainly would be a town.

It's just so condenced due to most people being in high rising flats. If in UK the area would be much larger, as most people there would be living in houses.
