    Obama Inauguration

Hi, does anyone know of any events (for expats and/or for Russians) to get together to watch the Obama inauguration on Tuesday evening?

    Chez Elk

I hope there will be also something more substantial (food I am talking) to go with that at Chez Elk.

Let me talk to management. This isn't a bad idea.

    This just in:

    Democrats Abroad
    Dear all,

I hope you enjoyed the extended holidays.

On Tuesday, from 19.15, DA Russia will be gathering at the Starlite Diner at OKTYABRSKAYA Metro (Koroviy Val Street, Building 9A) to watch live CNN coverage of the inauguration. If you would like to join us, please confirm with me by Monday evening so we can reserve an appropriate number of tables.

Thanks to Paul O'Brien for making the Starlite available for us.

    Sincerely,
    Andrew Hardisty
