Jesus, there is no easy way to get to Gran Canary from Moscow! It's the same as going to the States actually - time-wise... Wanted to go there for the November holidays, but would have spent all of it in flights :D
What to do?! Where to go for 4 days in November. I think I can't go to Egypt, as I have no more pages for visas in the passport :eh:

Go to Dubai, it's just a 5 hour flight and there is a direct flight Moscow. Though, if I were you I'd fly Emirates from domodedovo. The visa is easy to get and it\s a piece of paper you bring along it's not actually stamped in your passport. November is fantastic time to be in Dubai, the weather is grand, there is plenty to do.

Have you been to Gran Canaria?

I went a few years ago and thought it was a toilet. A sunny one, but a toilet nonetheless.

Go to Turkey! It's beautiful. Friendly. Good fun. Good weather. Three hour flight. Easy visa that'll only take up a quarter of a page in your passport. (BTW, why not just get some extra pages added to it?)

If you're set on the Canaries why not go Tenerife ?? Transaero fly there ..

Wow, great suggestions here! I might go to Dubai then. Can't deal with the passport redtape - no time now.
But no I went to various Canary islands - Grand Canary, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and loved it. Perfect climate and no sightseeing ;) Just what you need for 4 days in autumn-winter. But Dubai is a great idea too (if it was not so Russian)
