I hope you haven't got rid of all your cockroaches yet... ;)

Catch a cockroach in your kitchen and look closely at it.
- if the cockroach is hale and hearty, it means everything is ok in your home.
- if the cockroach is sluggish - attend to your wife, she feeds you bad.
- if the cockroach is bright blue, horned and speaks with human voice - congratulations, you've got the delirium tremens.
Now measure the cockroach.
- if total length of the cockroach's feelers equals the length of its body, multiplied by the square root of its belly's diameter and divided by the logarithm of the number of its legs - you are a scrupulous and meticulous person.
- if the legs of the cockroach are evenly distributed over its body - you'd better, just to be on the safe side, see a psychiatrist.
- and if the legth of the cockroach equals its width - it means it's a bedbug.
Let the cockroach go.
- if it runs straight on - everything in your life lies ahead.
- if it runs back to you - oh, you are a very interesting person.
- if it doesn't run at all - it's died.

I flipppppin hate them... *shudders* -- when living in alexandria we used to take a broom handle chase them out onto the 16th floor roof-terrace (we had the 'penthouse') and chip them off golf-style :)

It's very fashionable to eat insects here at the moment. They sell them in specialist delicatessens. People pay more for them than they do for Beluga caviar!

Anyone for a nice, crunchy, succulent cockroach cluster?

not a fan of caviar either - but some vodka followed by some fish + onions (what is it called?) would be lovely! :)
