View Full Version : Lost migration card and visa registration.

Hello everyone,

I think I may have lost my visa registration and my migration card somehow. I live in St. Pete so I can access consulates pretty easily. But I don't even know if that's the right thing to do.

What's the process for getting out of the country? Where can I get replacements?

Thanks for your help.

It happens all the time to people. Although in theory they can fine you at the airport when you leave, in practice I've never heard of them doing so. Even if they do, the fine is 200 roubles. Your passport shows the date you arrived, so they can see how long you've been in Russia.

I've left (from Moscow) at least twice with no Registration stamp at all, and they didn't even blink.

Ok that's good. I actually found my registration thing but still no migration card. I think that's the less important one so no worries.

Thanks for your help.
