Some men never think of it.
You did. You'd come along
And say you'd nearly brought me flowers
But something had gone wrong.

The shop was closed. Or you had doubts -
The sort that minds like ours
Dream up incessantly. You thought
I might not want your flowers.

It made me smile and hug you then.
Now I can only smile.
But, Look, the flowers you nearly brought
Have lasted all this while.

I WANDER'D lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

A Snowy Rose

The flower blooms blood red.
Fragile, fragrant, full.
Soft, elegant petals.
A strong stem.

A winter rose,
small snowflakes
perched on her thorns.
The bloom atop bathed in cold light.

The time of night,
moon and stars.
Their incandescent light falls on the snow.
The moon, white lady of the night,
showers the crimson rose with her glory.

To behold such a sight,
beauty overlapping beauty,
the mystique of the moons’ pure light,
the blood drenched ruby of the rose,
the emerald of her leaves,
the pearls and diamonds of the fresh snow.

I've just checked peyote's profile to understand what this Virgo talk was all about only to find out that we have birthdays on the same day! Isn't it a scary sign?

The eye of the camera
Pokes into the threshold of your mouth,
Contorts itself with your tongue
And abandons the game.

The eye of the camera
Slips toward your ear,
Turns around,
Descends,
It fills it with the substance of pleasure.

The eye of the camera
Crawling to your neck,
Your shoulder, your breasts,
Pausingly,
Drinking sips of time.

The eye of the camera
At the doors of your sex,
Playing soft games...
The eye of the camera
Is the tip of my tongue...

I view this poll as a great achievement.

I played a matchmaker for two doves.

Iva,
pass me a hanky....
