Trump thought he can play the big boy and the rest ill dance to his tune. good for the Big 7, not anymore it seems. to them, the shirt is closer than the coat. and that means export and import to and from Russia...
Interesting little fact on the sideline. the Austrian state president was realized about that gas from Russia. Liquefied gas from the USA brought to Europe is 3x more expensive than gas from Russia. So already it makes no sense to buy there from an economical view.. Definitely Austria will not changing. Baumgarten ( in Austria) will stay the biggest distribution center of Russian gas in Europe. And will even be expanded. when VV was visiting, reason was that 50 years ago the first Russian gas was delivered to Austria, new contracts worth many a million were signed. of which not only Austria will profit, but the rest of the EU as well. Good for them!
And Mutti Merkel also will have to wake up to the facts of life. otherwise, her electorate will do it for her.

and the new Italian government wants to talk about (maybe?) lifting the sanctions against Russia.http://www.rosbalt.ru/world/2018/06/08/1709130.html
as I said, they have lots of Parmesan and Chianti in their stores.

Trump is earning his money; he has told the G7 that the RF should be attending! He is getting short of friends and needs to keep those photographs and video film from the Moscow Ritz-Carlton firmly secured and out of the media's hands............

Arriving at the summit, Mr Trump said he regretted the meeting had shrunk in size - potentially putting him at odds with other members on another issue.

"You know, whether you like it or - and it may not be politically correct - but we have a world to run and in the G7, which used to be the G8 they threw Russia out, they should let Russia come back in,"

G8 -> G7 -> G6 ->

Soon, Macaroni Man and Justin "PrettyBoy" Trudeau will be all by themselves. Then they can talk in Frogese. :)

Shortly after he landed on Canadian soil for the first time as president, Donald Trump was warmly greeted by Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

The trio lingered on the podium, chatting comfortably as they posed for photos at the start of the G7 summit in Quebec.

There was little hint of the acrimony that had filled Trump’s Twitter feed hours earlier as he had raged at Canada and its prime minister, laying bare escalating trade tensions that have seemingly pushed US-Canada relations to their lowest point in recent memory.

Since taking office, Trump has routinely disparaged Canada’s trade policies, calling them a “disgrace” and “unfair”. As he prepared to visit Canada this week, however, the US president took it up a notch, personally attacking Trudeau.

“We lose a lot with Canada. People don’t know it. Canada is very smooth,” Trump told a gathering of state governors in February. “They have you believe that it’s wonderful. And it is. For them – not wonderful for us … So we have to start showing that we know what we’re doing.”

Ha, look how they are all leaning on the table as if ready to attack! Trump doesn't seem too fazed by it though. Defiance, with arms crossed. Trump must be thinking, "I could bomb the sh!t out of your countries".

I wonder what they were giving him sh!t about. There are so many possibilities.

Trump clearly dislikes group meetings which he cannot control and bully; he seems more comfortable at 1 to 1 bi-lateral meetings rather than these high-powered multi-lateral meetings.

Being a former businessman, I guess he likes doing deals and forcing the deal to be on his terms which is easier if only dealing with 1 person, or 1 business interest.

On Canada the Donald has a valid point

While the US and some EU countries are often accused of trading with and arming unsavoury regimes for profit and strategic benefit, Canada (presenting itself as a 'moral' force) has done much the same but often escapes condemnation

anyone who has seen the TV serial -you are fired- will understand.
Trump wants to be in charge and only him.
Trump wants to be in control and only him.
Trump wants to play the music and all others should dance to his tune. But pay the musicians, others can do that.
When Trump says jump, everyone should jump. And not ask how high. He will tell them how high.

Great G7 summit, bigger divide is growing between old allies, insults, back stabbing, name calling, excellent from team Trump.

A war of words has erupted between the US and its G7 allies, hours after the group had put on a show of unity at the end of a tense summit.

While the western leaders were squabbling amongst themselves, Putin was meeting Xi, Putin received China’s first friendship medal, and then the two made Chinese dumplings.

The Italian leader is one to watch, he is also in Putin's corner.

Italy is definitely a place to watch. - Liga North- and -Forza Italia - )Berlusconi is still pulling strings in the back) want to break away from the poor south of Italy. Most of the business and therefore money is in the North of Italy.
The Province of South Tyrol (Südtirol) wants to have more autonomy.Do they want to break away from Italy and return as part of Austria? Südtirol is rich. The best wine and fruits come from there. And they also have enough that their money gets drained off to support the poor South. Do the Austrians want their old province back? And with that also the port of Triest? Let the people deceide, the penpushers there keep all opinions open. But i think there are already to many -Italians- in Südtirol to let that happen. Though it is more than a thought anyway. But for more authonomy they also would vote anytime....

Dictator-For-Life and Hi-Tech thief Xi-Jin-Ping steals from the West and is now stealing from Putin, who signed over all of the Russian aerospace technology. RT opined about this - it was a great trade deal!

This is merely a tiny, temporary setback for the forced frog-march of the Progressives to lead the Euro-lemmings over the cliff. The election will be declared illegal, or voided, by a judge, by the courts, or by the Euro-crats. If not that, then street mobs will burn cars and cause the locals to compromise whatever ethical framework they still possess. After being labeled "racists" for refusing to agree to allow their country and culture to be subsumed in a tidal wave of alien invaders, young males of military age, any opposition to the invasion will lose whatever resolution it possessed.

"We"?

"We are all Chinese" goes the Chinese saying about their race. whether they live in Shanghai, Malaysia or New York City.
