it seems Murdoch is mobilising all his loyal subjects to defend his monopoly on the media.

Seems not happy about alternative narratives making the airwaves.

Just when you thought the campaign by the NeoCon Thought Police against RT couldnít get any nastier, it did.
In the US, RT has come under pressure to register as "foreign agents" under legislation designed to deal with Nazi propaganda in the 1930s. In Britain, the campaign is now personally targeting MPs and other public figures who agree to go on the channel Ė and also trying to apply pressure on bodies such as Transport for London (TfL) not to carry RTís wonderfully sardonic adverts.

Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, Boris Johnson, the Foreign Secretary, called it an Ďabsolute scandalí that Labour MPs have been appearing regularly on RT. What made the intervention all the more embarrassing was the fact that Johnsonís own father, the former MEP Stanley Johnson, had appeared on Going Underground the previous month to promote his new book.

You need to close RT in UK at all.

Those who work on RT channel are not journalists... They are propagandists... The knights of New Cold War... The veterans of the information battle between Putin's Russia and the West.

What the hell do you need the team of that sort of public in England ?

Send them back home ! Let they bark on the domestic Russian tv ! :)))

Not 100%sure , I'd say many who work for RT in the UK are not Russians, so in a way, Russia is doing a good job for the UK, employing some locals..

BBC is not? they are newsmakers? or CNN or Fox, or the likes? to me they are all the same. the dance to the music the highest bid master makes. JOURNALISM is a word ALL of them have forgotten long ago. as long as it brings likes, and clicks and views. and in the end revenue and profit for the owners and shareholder.

News channels are not organizations of charity. Reuters, AFP, NBC, CNN, BBC, Sky, ABC, RT, Bloomberg...are there to influence public opinion!

RT has some "no holds barred" shows such as the Keiser Report , which are not available on Western TV channels
