Reasonable prices? In Moscow?

I guess it depends on your context.

I took a pair of mud-splattered suit trousers (Mr Elk . . .) to one of the Diana dry cleaners (it's a chain . . . I found one near me in the book Living In Moscow). I think they charged me something close to 500 rubles to clean the mud off . . . it was all itemized and Mr. Elk could read it.

They DID do an excellent job.

Since then I found another chain in the foyer of a grocery store near me (name of the grocery looks like KRAPMAN, but it's not . . . my Russian stinks). I took suit trousers there (no mud this time), and they wanted something closer to 250 rubles.

That's what the drycleaners by me charges. Took a suit for the H. today, and it was 525 rbs. (or close).

Pair of suit pants alone was 250, without mudstains.

Got some pants hemmed, and that was 250.

Have no idea what the place is called. (Plus no one lives near here anyway...so it doesn't matter.:) )

But it looks as though our prices are similar.

I think Diana is the largest chain and they did an ok job with my stuff. The worst was Kontrast...

There are dry-cleaning shops in Auchan/Ашан.

Last time I was there, they were charging 150 rubles per item and did a very good job.

The work is done right there, for all to see.
