Every day 2 hours in our sport complex,
Twice a week 2 hours swimming,
Every week 15/20 km running in parks,
Twice a month 4 or 5 jumps in parachutism,
Plus some "extra sport" when I have more free time :)

when the week goes fine:

2 times a week at the pool

4 days a week 15mins of elyptic machine (i have it at home) plus 45crunches with ABroller (which i have at home)

honestly for me not excercising does not work at all, i feel too much guilty and paranoid if i dont do that

till 17/18yo i was obese (120kgs) so decided on sport seriously

That wouldn't be considered as sport :) But I did a test flight on a Sukhoii some years ago with a friend pilot... hey, we went very high, not to the moon, but HIGH! That was GREAT, but also not considered as sport, as if the engines worked, we just looked :)

I begin once or twice a month to exercise before turning in, but then after a few productive evenings, something happens to make me skip, and I lose my drive.

Your threads are pointing me in the right direction. But:11513:itīs not easy. But at least your input makes me think about it. Swimming, riding my bike etc. :11513::rasta:

I had not intention to count smth - just read this calculation in book, and think that this might be posted as useful info..:)

Second, you can argue with the originator of the poll , but you can't win. :11030:

As of this writing the "every day" and "feel guilty" anwers are equal, which I think means "feel guilty" wins! :p

... I'm sure somebody mentioned that lifting a shot of vodka is exercise ... right?

Lots and lots of walking (to keep the Labrador from destroying things), at least 2 hours a day.

Thinking about doing some martial arts again. Did judo and nunchaku for ages, but would like to try something else. Also, my daughter has decided to use me as an object to train for her karate-belt. :P

For the rest, once every 3-4 weeks I get hurt at playing paintball. In the winter: skating 1-2 times per week.

And the 'obvious' of course. ;)

Albertina
29-01-2008, 12:27
Ezik, reading all you are doing I start to wonder if one can work and combine all that with it, or one must never get tired of everyday chores and life to find energy for all those activities. What's your secret?!

Before I got to Moscow I had

2x week with trainer
once a week tennis lesson for 90 min
once a week swimming for at least 30 min, often for 60 min
once a week Pilates for an hour
plus bike riding of either on the flat for 2 hours or UPPPPP the hills for 90 min, weather permitting

Here I walk at least 60-90 min a day taking kids to school. If I walk round trip, morning and afternoon, it's 2 hours. So that's something. But it's not crunches.

So when someone on this forum asked if I really had triceps: Yes. Yes, I did.

till 17/18yo i was obese (120kgs) so decided on sport seriously

A few years ago I had a girlfriend who lost a bunch of weight and looked hot. So I got on the bandwagon. I lost about 11 kg. Spouse decides he'll provide moral support. He lost 40 kg. He was about 112 kg when he started. (He's 2 meters tall) Now he's about 75-80 kg.

I tease him that I weighed more than that at 9 months pregnant! But his blood pressure is down (it was high when he was fatter), and he's happy. And while I think a few extra kgs wouldn't hurt, he looks great.

:11030: No, Zhenulka. It's not presumptuous even for a little bit. Trinity is my original nick since my first days in the Net. And it has nothing to do with any schizophrenia. If it's the schyzophrenia, then your Lord Jesus Christ has the same kind of "schizophrenia" too...
