The BBC link says:

'Cooke, who was absent from the show last week due to illness, will not record any new shows but Radio 4 will air archive shows for several weeks.'

He is not going to say 'goodbye'?! I hope he isn't that sick. He's only 95.

Me too I hope he does one last one to say a fond farewell - nothing finer than listening to him on Saturday morning ...

Almost as good as "Just a Minute" which was on last night ...
