I saw him on Monday's Jay Leno show where they were talking about him not getting invited to the debate on FOX, despite the fact that he one of the front runners for the Republican nomination... this piqued my interest, besides which I found what he said on Leno quite interesting. Enter YouTube, where he is #1 on watched videos amongst the *entire* playing field from both parties combined.

Here's an interview with him from Bill Moyers Journal . Home | PBS (http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/index-flash.html)

Ron would get my vote for this.

Paul has also called for the removal of all taxes on gold transactions.[83] He has repeatedly introduced the Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act since 1999,[84] to enable "America to return to the type of monetary system envisioned by our Nation's founders: one where the value of money is consistent because it is tied to a commodity such as gold"; it has received virtually no mainstream news coverage.[85] He opposes dependency on paper fiat money, but also says that there "were some shortcomings of the gold standard of the 19th century ... because it was a fixed price and caused confusion." He argues that hard money, such as backed by gold or silver, would prevent inflation, but adds, "I wouldn't exactly go back on the gold standard but I would legalize the constitution where gold and silver should and could be legal tender, which would restrain the Federal Government from spending and then turning that over to the Federal Reserve and letting the Federal Reserve print the money."[

he hasn't said a word yet that I disagree with - I am surprised the rest of them haven't put a hit out on him yet... if he gets elected theres gonna be a whole mountain of heads rolling :-)

This man seems great, but he is completely "out of the system"! The system that makes Republicans and Democrats share the Power since centuries, only them. They agree to block anybody else, the cake is too good to share it with others!

Anyway I will take Ron on his face value, but he did let some racists use his name. You should look at the other side and if you still are with him...thats aok with me.

Though it certainly shows poor personal judgment on his part, I believe his explanation that members of his staff wrote many of the controversial things in these newsletters. There is simply no other material I have seen anywhere that would indicate that these are his personal points of view.

I mean I like Ron because he really shakes things up and presents an interesting point of view.

On the other hand, if you listen to him, what's his solution for health care. Maybe gov't shouldn't be in this business??? He says look back before the 60's, well their was a large amount of poverty in the 60's and people in some areas of the US were malnourished.

Guest, the same situation here since the normans invasion in the 9th centure... The pie is too good and too sweet in order to give the power to the people. But our lefts and our leftists are even more worse than putin fans... (((:
