Second picture! I'd run and hide!

I had exactly the same thoughts about the first one... Gundiaev is irresistingly awesome when clad in gold from head to toe.
Taking the occasion, I also would like to congratulate all Russians on the birth of their Jewish Savior.

our stairs are always clean, we also have a lady who comes and cleans. garbage is being removed every day. at 5 in the morning we can hear already the -swish,swish- of the brooms when the -dvorniks- are cleaning the pavements. and at 6 the tractor comes with the big rotating brush.
everyone seems to ahve their toilets at home, the only ones who take a leak around the bushes are our dogs.
well, Strogino is a posh place.... though much nicer than Rublovka...

That depends on which Service! ;)

Some are always on the payroll and never retire until they die, but others do officially retire due to being unable to physically undertake associated tasks! ;)

Well, it's because you never investigated the question as deep as RL did ;)

Well, it's because you never investigated the question as deep as RL did ;) Speaking of..

Why is it you tell those expat friends of yours time and time again that you celebrate New Year, biggest holiday in Russia and all that... but no, they're in hiding on the 31st/1st but send you Merry Christmas cards/wishes on Jan 7th! I'm Jewish! :verycool: :D

FatAndy

but no, they're in hiding on the 31st/1st but send you Merry Christmas cards/wishes on Jan 7th!
It's pretty easy to explain. They start to drink 24th Dec, come to the proper condition fast and then dive into alcoholic nirvana for a ~week. Then they suffer of hangover for several days, drinking-eating alka seltzer, aspirin and other strange substances - of course, you never told them about morning rassol, cold beer and two shots of vodka with hot and spicy food... - so 7th is within the timeframe...

I'm Jewish! :verycool: :D
Do you feel good or bad because of it?:D
